Location: Menara Uncang Emas, Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training in analytics, data engineering, and AI to ORTECH Academy participants, including corporate clients, public sector agencies, and university students.

• Conduct training sessions on platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, Dremio, Cloudian HyperStore, and related analytics/AI tools.

• Prepare and customize training materials, case studies, and exercises to meet client-specific requirements.

• Guide participants through practical exercises, troubleshooting, and real-world analytics scenarios.

• Assess participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning outcomes.

• Stay updated on the latest features, best practices, and industry trends in analytics, AI, and data engineering.

• Support ORTECH’s capacity-building initiatives, including Yayasan Peneraju, HRDF-certified courses, and university partnerships.

• Assist in the design and development of new training modules for emerging technologies such as LLM inference workflows and graph analytics.

• Collaborate with the Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering and Solutions Engineering teams to align training outcomes with client business goals.

• Represent ORTECH Academy at education fairs, workshops, and industry events when required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or a related field with a CGPA of 3.0+

• Minimum 1 year of experience in analytics, BI, or data-related roles (Fresh graduates with strong technical and presentation skills are encouraged to apply)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Malay

• Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) and SQL; Python knowledge is an advantage

• Passion for teaching, knowledge-sharing, and helping others succeed in analytics

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

• Willingness to travel within Malaysia for client training sessions

Additional Points

• HRDF-certified trainer status is an advantage

• Experience in training public sector or enterprise clients is beneficial

• Knowledge of data lakehouse, AI/ML, and graph analytics is a plus
